WHY DID I STOP WATCHING THIS SHOW?

Oh I know, stuff and cable fuckups and school and hockey.

I think I love this episode more than any other. Oh boys, even without your memories you're you. <3

Put your MP3 player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results.

Hi creativity! I'd like if you'd come back likerightnow.

So yeah. To start, here's what I get:
(also, I'm going to do it the Anna Way and move lyrics around to make it seem more artistic. And because I'm anal.)

Oh, I need your love babe.
I'm on a sentimental journey.
Are you gonna take me home tonight?
Billy-Ray was a preacher's son.
Father, please forgive me for I know not what I do.

Summer has come and passed.
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
I'm lying to myself.
Janie always said I was a mess.
Sweet dreams are made of this.

I am an arms dealer.
I will never bother you.
Pressure, pushing down on me.
Open up your heart to me.
Keep holding on.

Hey, Jude, don't make it bad.
Has he lost his mind?
Off through the new day's mist I run.
And tonight we burn down everything.
Well, I don't know what.

Okay. Here it goes:

Janie always said I was a mess,
"Hey, Jude, don't make it bad."
Billy-Ray was a preacher's son.
Are you gonna take me home tonight?
Father, please forgive me for I know not what I do.

Oh, I need your love babe,
Open up your heart to me.
Sweet dreams are made of this,
And tonight we burn down everything.
I'm lying to myself.

Has he lost his mind?
Summer has come and passed.
Pressure, pushing down on me,
Keep holding on.
I'm on a sentimental journey.

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
I will never bother you.
Off through the new day's mist, I run.
I am an arms dealer,
Well, I don't know what.

Well, that was much better than I expected.

Lazy, Planned Spontaneity, and music

So, I still haven't done that thing I was doing for Dark Knight, but I just don't have the time to really think it through. I suppose I could do it now, but that would be too productive, so haha, no.

Okay, so I love going to Hay's house, because I don't have to be a particularly good guest. You know how sometimes, at someone else's house, you feel kind of obligated to ask before you touch or do anything, and its kind of like, "I'm going to stand awkwardly in the middle of this room, so I don't seem rude." Well, at Hayleigh's, it's not like that at all. Basically, I just show up uninvited one day, and usually stay for weeks at a time, or so it seems. Having friends that allow that kind of thing are just awesome. I think its funny that it has gotten to the point where her family is more confused when I'm not over there, than when I am.

Oh!
So, you know Chinese fire drills? (I don't know if that is PC, but whatever.) Jumping out of the car at a red light. Apparently, thats illegal? Since when?
Haha, so my friends and I planned and practiced this for like, an hour, so we could do it and not get caught. Yeah, thats the way we roll: Planned Spontaneity. We were mostly successful, except for the part where Billy almost ran me over. It was good times. Then we saw some of our friends, and they threw soda at us, so what? What just happened?

Kyle XY has been cancelled! WHY? Why does the network think Secret Life is a better use of tube time?
Wrong. Wrong.

Oh, hi WILCO! Its nice to meet you!
How did I not know about this band?!
I love new music. I love old music.
Ah, I've just...lately music has been securely wrapping itself into my soul. Its vice - like grip is delicious though.
David MeShow? Wonderfulwonderful. Eventually I'm going to one of his shows. And maybe while I'm in the area, I can catch a Le Husky show.
Ohohoh. I just need my music.
I love annoying sugarpop. It is a guilty pleasures

Oh, off topic here, but I read that a liar would use "would not" instead of wouldn't and "is not" instead of isn't, and so on. I think thats funny, because I guess it has to do with the fact that it subconsciously seems more believable, but I think thats random for our brains to think, considering the majority of the population uses the contractions of words.
Am I just crazy?

Of Harry/Ginny, Kyle XY and teary finales.

Slashley

I have to say, I am utterly utterly annoyed at the Harry/Ginny ship.
I know that's completely out of the blue, but really.
"But they are destined, dont you see?!" some might say. Or, "But she had loved him forever, and he finally noticed her," others will proclaim.
No.
I dont care that JKR made them end up together, its bullshit.
For about 6 years or so, he barely knew she existed, except that she was Ron's sister. For the Yule Ball in 4th year, he was panicking at the though of going alone, so instead of recognizing she was female, and whatnot, what does he do instead? FInds two random twins he barely knows and asks them for him and Ron.
"But AJ," you'll say, "It says in the 6th book, and I'm paraphrasing here, that he finally noticed her in a different light." Yeah, that's called thinking with his dick. Hello, she finally grew up. He's a guy. A sheltered, emotionally inept, socially incapable guy, but a guy nonetheless.
It just... GRR.

Speaking of couples that annoy me:
AMANDA/KYLE )

So. The OC. I watch the entire series on SoapNet, because they play in a loop, everyday at 3 and 4. So the finale was today, and I cried. Alot. Enough that my family was mildly concerned. I pretty much cry everytime I see, or think about it, or read fics concerning it.
Gah, there is so much about the OC that I just adore and other things I absolutely hate, and if I were to make list of my OTP's, Ryan and Seth would be near the top, because really, who are they trying to kid?
In show-reality, I would probably put Taylor and Ryan on that list, becuase I adore season 4 Taylor, she's just so neurotic, and I love her for it. And combining that with Ryan's stoic self, its like...ah! explosion of awesome.
Seth and Summer might get an honourable mention, but thats even doubtful. There are times when I love them to death ["Go save the world Summer Roberts"] but there are a lot more times when I'm like, "WHY did this couple happen?!" I'm not going to lie, I loved Seth with Alex so much more than anyone else. Except maybe Anna. Loved her too.
Of course, I'm biased, because I have a massive celeb-crush on Olivia Wilde.
Anyway, I have always, always, always intensely hated the Ryan/Marissa couple. Not to say I hated Marissa. She annoyed me, yes, but she had her moments. She just caused SO. Much. Drama. Ugh. The only time she wasn't causing drama that could possibly end in the injury of someone, was when she was with Alex, and for that reason, Alex and Marissa were one of my favourite couples.
Oh, OC. I miss you.

I am so lame. All I can do is talk about TV shows and other things like that.

Excitement!

I have got to stop falling off the wagon of LJ.
People are going to think I only created a journal to lurk! Its really not that, I just go through cycles of interests, and sometimes being on the computer is at the bottom of that list. Hence, the randomness of the entries.

Anyway.

I feel I have been spending far too much time with my grandmother. Not bad, just too much. She has me hooked on soaps.
At first it was just the OC. That was my fault, I should never have made myself susceptible. But then it was As the World Turns. [Not gonna lie, started watching that because of Noah and Luke.] Then it was Bold and the Beautiful. Then Guiding Light. One Tree Hill and the Young and the Restless are trying to get me, but I'm holding strong!
I can't foret about Sonadoras though. I do love that one. I just haven't seen it in a while.

Moving on.
DARK KNIGHT?
Okay so. Obviously, it was amazing, aesthetically. But I've seen the old one with the Joker, and the old one with TwoFace, quite a few of the animated series', and there are the comics, which admittedly, I am not as familiar with, and so the two villians are kind of iffy with me. Also, haven't seen the really old ones with like, Adam West in ages, so those will be diregarded for my summary thing.

the Joker.
He's a crazy guy. Depending on what media you are viewing, he's either delightfully quirky, just this side of the dividing line of crazy-evil, or he's incurably psychotic, hell-bent on mass destruction.

Now. The thing that gets me is the back story. Heath is was an amazing actor, and his take on the Joker was no less amazing than anything else he's ever done. However, his smile is just scars. There are some stories, through the comics, that say the Joker's smile was, in fact, scars, caused by Batman usually, and his insanity is caused by his disfigurement. But it seems that a much more common, and in my opinion, reasonable explanation is that the man that the Joker was fell into a vat of chemical waste, completely bleaching his skin, morphing his face and turning his hair green. I am more inclined to be able to believe this story because the chemical waste could have also affected his brain somehow, more logically changed his behavior, especially when considering what he was doing at the time of the accident.
The thing that gets me is that in this movie, the Joker seems less like the Joker of previous storylines, and more like a crazed scientist. He's got a hypothesis that people function under chaos and is determined to prove using experiments the masses would consider, well, psychopathic. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I'll have to add TwoFace later. I got places to be.

Damn this state and damn this school.

Well. I just went completely off-topic on my effective communicator for art [yeah art. wtf is up with that?] and wrote a poem instead.

Besides that. I haven't been on here in ages.
No thats a lie, I've just been lurking, anonymous.

I blame Kyle XY for that. After the season finale, I just sort of lost any will to be on LJ for more than a little while.

 so yeah.

I've got a brand new obsession. Or five.
At this particular moment in time, I hate myself for saying it, but I LOVE the OC.
Oh man.

I missed last week's episode, so at first, some things confused me, but then I was fine.
Which I suppose could be a bad thing, becuase it means they are going REALLY slowly in the storyline.

I'm surprisingly fine with that.

Also. I love Firefly! And I have recently forced Brother to watch it with me, and he is slowly but surely becoming a fan.
Soon, my precious, soon. *grin*

I haven't been doing much of anything lately, least of all caring about LJ.
Blame that on my father, who left again.
But, whatever.

Could someone please explain this to me:
WHY do I suddenly have an obsession with Pete Wentz?!
I do like FOB, dont get me wrong.

I'm also mourning Jeeves.
Poor, poor Jeeves.
Let us have a moment of silence for him.
[Yes, I did JUST find out that he's gone.]

Kyle XY! Only 1 month 12 days!!

Also.
No offense, but...
Geneva fucking sucks at everything.
Their coaches are assholes, and their teams blow.

Things the hockey tournament in Ithaca taught me:

...You are never too old to play Never Have I Ever.
...The team that beat you in States will always be cocky about it.
...When the coach of the team you always beat by large margins is the referee of your game, chances are, you will lose.
...When said referee physically grabs one of your teammates, he better be prepared for three coaches, four fathers and three mothers, plus a PMSing girls' hockey team to attack him, both physically and verbally.
...Crushing on your coach, who was once your teammate on an all girls hockey team is not so good for your lovelife.
...Going commando is better than not.
...Pizza at 2am is better than during normal human hours.
...Dominoes delivers at 2am.
...Drunk woman yell randomly at girls they see in the lobby of hotels.
...That you really never want to know what Superman is.
...Stealing things off the hotel Christmas tree makes so much more sense at 3am than at noon.
...Hockey parents are obnoxious.
...Even when you don't, you win.

Yeah thats all I got.

Yes. Well. Back. Help?

Anyway. My computer is working again, so I'm here to ask:

Does anyone have any ideas on what to put on a CD I am making for my mom?
Its not for Mother's Day, obviously, or Christmas, or her Birthday. Its just because, and its to say I'm sorry, kind of.

Any ideas?

Kyle XY of course.

Once again, new episode of Kyle XY. *plot thickens*
Unfortunately, next Monday's episode is the season finale! *sob*
So tonight. Kyle and Amanda do their thing, Amanda being all not-trusty. Kind of understandable, what with the whole Charlie thing, but seriously, why would KYLE of all people be cheaty? Thank god she's going...where ever it was that she was going to go to...I think? I have no idea. I rather dislike Amanda. And Lori. omg. I REALLY dislike Lori. She's so....dramatic. And self-centered. I suppose its supposed to like, portray teenage girls of now or whatever, but that doesnt make her any less annoying.
On a side note, a friend of mine mentioned that she noticed that when I dislike a character, its usually a female character. Now, I've done some serious self-analysis here, and decided. I dislike female characters more often than because they are so. Damn. Dramatic. Think about it. Often the female main character is some sort of drama queen that gets on everyone's nerves, though they'd never admit it. In regards to Kyle XY, dundundun, its Lori. However! I dont mean this is always the case. Sometimes there is a female character that makes me fall in love with them. Such as Andy! [We're still using Kyle XY as a reference here.] She's perfect. And NOT annoying. Thats all I have to say about that.
I was very happy with the Jessi stuff, getting back on track here. I like how Baylin came back and was all "I'm in ur mind, confusing ur thoughts." But in the end, helped Kyle. Love for the Baylin.
BROMANCE. That's what got me. Even Hilary is noticing the unusually close and often lovefest occurring between Declan and Kyle. I am in no way complaining however! Because, well, duh. *SQUEE*
All in all, two thumbs way way up.

Supah good week

So yeah.
This past week has been  AMAZING. I dont even know why.
So I start out on Monday with soccer tryouts. At first, it wasnt too bad. Died a little. Every other sophomore made it up to Varsity, except like 3 of us. My BFF, Frito, decided to quit on me, so there was two of us. Then the other one couldnt do it because of some medical condition. Guh. The only sophomore on a JV team of all Freshman. So I was like, well this sucks. But then the JV coach comes up to me and goes "Do you want to be on Varsity?" and I was like Hell Yeah. So I'm now a Varsity player, starting Monday.
The other parts of my Good Week are not so interesting. Mostly its just that I managed to see Kyle XY AND Supernatural IN THE SAME WEEK. It was exciting.
I love Kyle. I missed a few episodes, but I'm all caught up now. Gah. I love Declan. He's my fav.
And Supernatural. IT WAS "FOLSOM PRISON BLUES"! I died. Sam and Dean in prison?! Tell me that doesnt give you ideas? Yup.

I'm still on Australia time, so I cant sleep.
I've had insomnia the past few nights.
Although, my inability to sleep may also be caused by the fact that his arms arent around me. That sounds pathetic, and soooo school-girlish, but seriously, I never slept as good as when he held me.
Its sad.

So, anyway, Australia was frickin amazing.
I didnt want to leave. I'm going back as soon as humanly possible.
Just gah, love.

DEATHLY HALLOWS!

I will not say anything about it yet though, as I do not want to be trampled by those who fear spoilers as I do.

The Barnes & Noble midnight party was supah fly though. For the most part anyway. It kind of lulled around 10-11, then everyone got real excited again once it got closer to Midnight [caps!].
I met Nicole on Crack. She was srsly insanity.
Really though, be jealous of Anna, Rachel, Chelsea and Hayleigh. They had THE best costumes. Each one was a different house and they were srs amazement. The frickin people running the stupid party wouldnt let them compete in the costume contest as a group. It was really snickety. I was angry. Well, slightly angry. I was pretty much sleeping the manga section of B&N. I was Luna Lovegood. Kind of. Mostly. Yeah.
I wanted a cloak. No such luck. They had "cape-making" AKA "put-stickers-on-a-garbage-bag-and-tie-it-to-you." Forget that crap!
There was a magician! He was hot. He might have done good magic...I didnt stay for the show, because I was crowded by little kids. Not my idea of fun.
I got a Dark Mark painted on my arm. onoez! LUNA'S GONE BAAAAAD.

Moving on. Watching Ladder 49. So thus ends my night.
